My Easter holiday was ruined by Etihad at the very start as I was made to take a non-reclining seat with no power for my business class seat. Moreover, the area smelled of foul odor similar to vomit. It was a most uncomfortable and unpleasant 7 hour flight from Manila to Frankfurt. With so much frustration in me, I was further dismayed by their letter of �regret� as it only offered 15000 Etihad Guestmiles which is equivalent to a shirt. Take note that this kind of ungraciousness goes up the chain of command as I wrote all the way to the CEO and only received a curt �regret� email from a separate customer service person who insisted on the 15000 guest miles and on closing the discussion. If you think you will be given utmost consideration when taking business class at Etihad, consider this experience.
