Booked flights and selected seats in Dec 15. Flew out of Melb to KL on 17 Aug 16. Our seats had been given to someone else and my wife and I were 15 rows apart. Luckily flight supervisor sorted this out. Flighf to LHR ok. Returned LHR to KL on 2Oct. Only two check in operators open for an A380 flight out of Heathrow!!!! Appeared to be computer problems too so stood for hours in a huge queue. When we got to check in we were told our booked seats we selected last December had already been allocated! It was suggested we could get the flight supervisor to help. There was a huge queue already of other disgruntled passengers so we took what we were given. Onboard the aircraft there was one passenger sitting in one of our booked seats and the other vacant. This was our third London trip with MA. First two great, this one a disaster. Cabin staff are wonderful but I would NEVER fly again with MA after this abyssmal stuff up. I have written to MA several weeks ago asking for a refund for not getting the seats we paid extra to get. No response yet!
