Economy Class

The oversold the flight and sold my seat to someones else. The process to me and 5 other people to a hotel took over 3 hours. it turns out they outsource this part of the service to small companies that try to save as much money as possible. How hard can it be to get a van and transport people to a nearby hotel? As required by EU law, I was given 600 Euros in compensation for having been bumped off my flight. However, they then made it difficult to cash it, asking me to travel to a specific office, in person, instead of just transferring the funds to my bank account. The flight itself was okay, once I got into the place, but I arrived one day late and exhausted. EDITORS COMMENT: you think they would make it easier given that their overbooking led to your inconvenience. Very frustrating!
