Etihad Airways review by Sadia 2017-02-13

My actual flight was on 31jan 2017 from Karachi to Canberra.In 2 hrs flight to Abu Dhabi my elder son developed fever and was unable to walk so I went to ethihad counter to ask them if I can get a wheel chair. They told me that they can send me to see paramedics if I want to. At the clinic I got first line management for my son who was also vomiting by then. The fever was not coming down and the doctors were advising me to go to the hospital keeping in view my sons lethargic condition. As a doctor myself I decided not to take 14 hr flight to Melbourne and went to the Hospital. There my son was admitted for three days and besides the usual hospitals problems and a big bill in the end,Etihad I must say was wonderful.since my husband was not with me n I had 2 sons to take care of ,if it would not hv been the most efficient,caring and prompt staff of Etihad things would hv been very very hard for me.they not only took care of my flight booking but also acted efficiently on my problems encountered in the hospital.They even gave me 24 hrs of rest before booking my next flight to Australia and drove me to Dubai to stay with my sister for that day and picked me from Dubai for the airport
