Delayed flight, took us to the wrong airport, ignored emails requesting a refund of $90 for the extra travel I had to pay to get to the correct airport. Our flight was delayed by an hour, so we missed our connecting flight in Doha International Airport. When we landed there, the ground staff silently gave us new tickets to London Heathrow instead of Gatwick. Upon arriving at Heathrow, we had to pay around $90 in coach fares to get to Gatwick Airport. I sent a support request detailing the situation and requested the refund of the extra travel expenses. I received an automated response and then nothing else. After I sent a follow up email a month later, I received a human response from a customer care rep, saying she would look into it. After that, there was no further contact. I’ve emailed Qatar repeatedly but they have simply ignored me. Qatar took us to the wrong airport without even bothering to tell us, and then ignored us when I asked them to refund the extra travel expenses they caused. I’ll never fly Qatar again, and I’d encourage others not to either.
