Economy Class

We didn't notice that there are two types of carry on luggage - extra small (free) and small (paid). Our bags were classified as the ones that need to be paid for. The only way to pay was on spot, the amount of 45 euros. We are a couple, with a bag each, so --> 90 euros. Neither of us had money on bank accounts and needed wifi for money transfer via internet banking. But the gate, which was outside of airport building (it was a tent) didn't have WiFi. Because of the situation, we asked for an invoice, to pay later. But were refused and given two options - pay cash or with card or miss the flight. Well, obviously, we didn't have the money. So another option was to miss the flight. Now, the staff turned out to be "kind" enough to offer us the third option - to empty our bags and throw them away and move all our belongings into plastic bags instead. Did they have plastic bags we could use? No! Could we buy them somewhere around? No! Could we get our bags mailed to us somehow? No! We were in a tent gate outside of the airport building! We ended up wrapping our belonging into our coats, while people around could observe the content of our bags with all the private things we had in. Our bags were 7 and 4 cm taller than required height. There were about 10 people that we observed had the same issue. The staff refused us talking to the manager. Our experience - humiliation and stress. This company lies about its values - there is nothing about customer comfort, no customer service whatsoever.
