Etihad Airways review by Lorelei 2017-05-27

I congratulate Etihad on their in flight service and delivery. Comfort, cleanliness, entertainment facilities and staff attention were first class. My flights were Melbourne Madrid return over the last month. Attention to check in information at Madrid Airport could be improved by providing more details of 'when' check in commences. I arrived at Madrid Airport at 6:15am to find the check in counters for my Etihad flight set up and ready to go. Unfortunately there was no indication as to when check in would start. It was not until 7am that staff started processing. Given the long flight ahead many passengers want to clear the formalities and relax before boarding. By not providing notice of when this process was to start added unnecessary frustration for waiting passengers.
