DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS AIRLINE!!! Our flight from Penang to Malacca was cancelled for 'operational reasons' and moved to the next day (24 hours later than the original flight!!!), this was notified via an email with no option to email back, only a Malaysian landline number. Given that we were travelling from the UK and had planned an extensive trip travelling round Malaysia for a set number of days with non refundable accommodation already booked, we had no choice but to make the expensive international phone call to cancel and ask for a refund. After being on hold for 20 mins i finally got through to an agent only to be offered a refund voucher valid for 3 months. Obviously being UK based and having no intention of ever flying Malindo again i had to insist on a cash refund which the agent had to speak to his manager about. He finally confirmed that he could issue a refund but only to a Malaysian bank account and that it would take up to 90 working days to receive!! In short, this is the worst airline i have ever booked with and they offer no apology or recourse to any losses incurred as a result of their actions.
