In February 2015, referring to my Lufthansa Senator status, I booked the extended legroom seat 26C on flight OS25, which was scheduled 10 months later on December 29, 2015. Other than for a similar seat on the return flight LH 779, which - due to my status - was reserved for free by Lufthansa, Austrian charged 70 Euro for the same service. I paid this fee and instantly received an official invoice confirming the exit row seat reservation. In December 2015, a few days prior to the flight, I found out that I had been reseated to a regular seat without any notice and that no extended legroom seats were available anymore. Various contacts to Austrian via phone and mail did not yield any solution neither any explanation. Austrian staff told me to be sorry about this, but could not offer any solution. Asking for the reason I was told this to be a computer mistake. Official feedback complaint was registered with reference 1512-OS-07399 on Dec. 22, 2015. Announcing soon response in return Austrian did not send any feedback until to date (January 28, 2016) - despite I returned two email reminders since. Not even an offer to reimburse my reservation cost arrived so far.
