Economy Class

I was quite disappointed with the services of the Turkish Airlines. We flew from Abuja to Bangkok through Istanbul which was okay. The return leg from Bangkok to Abuja through Istanbul was a nightmare. The flight from Bangkok was delayed so we missed our connecting flight to Abuja. The staff response was not pleasant. So many people had missed flights so there were long queues everywhere. Staff and customers shouted back and forth like they were in a market square. For us to be accommodated, we were told to go through passport control. Little information was given about anything really and no apologies but straight faces. We got to the passport control desk and were told that we needed visas to go to the hotel. We tried to explain that we were there by no fault of ours but they would not listen. We paid for and got the electronic visas which we were told to get only for my friend to be denied entry by immigration because she did not have a valid OECD country visa. She stayed at the airport with no food or accommodation provided by the airline. We gave up asking the Turkish Airline staff to intervene because they just stared with cold faces saying they could not help.
