Royal Air Maroc review by L 2016-02-26

In short, I'm a physician and have flown to over 36 countries and never before had I been so rudely shamed and disrespected by stupid, incompetent and classless an airline staff as Royal Air Maroc. What a complete joke of an "airline company" that would've gone bankrupt if they had any competition. I originally purchased an Air France round trip ticket from Montreal to Paris to Moscow departing 12/30/15 and arriving 12/31/15 for New Year's Eve in Moscow. However, upon reaching YUL airport in Montreal, Air France informed me that the flight is overbooked and placed me on Royal Air Maroc to go through Casablanca before arriving in Moscow Sheremetyevo airport. However, the flight to Casablanca via Royal Air Maroc was late on departing by 3 hours and therefore after arriving in Casablanca, I missed the connection to Moscow. I spent the next 6 HOURS at Casablanca airport being scolded by Royal Air Maroc staff and pushed to the side with no one to help me. They continuously told me that it was my fault and to wait. I asked along with the other very frustrated American passengers, "What are we waiting for? It's already been 5 hours and we are ready to complain to the US embassy!!"
