The new airport in KL makes the experience flying with Airasia much better. It's a marked improvement over the cattle shed they used to call an airport. That said, they still don't sell bottled drinks anywhere in the airport just to make it harder to bring water onto the flight. My biggest gripe with Airasia is still the arctic temperatures in the cabin, so you are forced to rent a blanket or freeze. I can understand their user-pays system for food and drinks but deliberately making people uncomfortable to extort a few extra bucks is unacceptable. EDITORS COMMENT: The A330 flights with AirAsia X are particularly cold
