    • Seat pitch of 60 inch and transform into angled lie flat beds with 170 degrees of recline on the 747 and A330; seat pitch of 74 inch and transform into fully lie flat beds on A380s, A350s and 787s

    First Class (Royal Silk First Class)

    • Available only on A380s, 747-400s and 777-300s
    • Meals served to cater for passenger preferences; option to pre select meals from extensive 22-choice menu before flying or select from 4-choice menu on board
    • Audio/Video On Demand and in seat power; mobile, sms and Wi-Fi capability on A380s
    • Seat pitch of 70 to 78 inch on shell-type seats which convert to fully lie flat beds; seat pitch of 83 inch on A380s
    • Superior quilts, pillows and quality amenity kits provided; comfort wear and slippers on intercontinental flights of more than 6 hours
    • Baggage allowance of no less than 40kg
    • Bar and lounge area on A380s
    • Founded in 1960 as joint venture between Thailand’s domestic carrier, Thai Airways Company (TAC) and Scandinavian Airline Systems (SAS)

    • After 17 year partnership with SAS, the Thai Government bought out SAS on April 1st 1977, Thai Airways merged with Thai Airways Company (TAC) in April 1988 forming the new Thai Airways International, Thailand’s only national carrier servicing domestic and international destinations
