Very mediocre airline. The main problem is that their planes are second-hand and you really feel their wear and tear when you fly between Europe and the USA. Broken seats, entertainment systems that don't work... Pay a couple of hundred dollars more and avoid AirSerbia. Garbage.

I flew with Air Serbia from Istanbul to Paris via Belgrade on 19 September 2025 in first class. The connecting flight from Belgrade to Paris was severely delayed, causing me to arrive almost 24 hours late. Despite paying for first-class, I was forced to stay overnight in a poor economy-class hotel, which is completely unacceptable. According to EU Regulation 261/2004, I am legally entitled to compensation for this delay. I submitted a claim through AirHelp and then directly to Air Serbia, yet the airline rejected my claim, ignoring the legal timeframe and my clear entitlement. AirHelp is now pursuing legal action on my behalf. This experience was extremely disappointing. The combination of severe delay, downgraded hotel accommodation, first-class service not delivered, and refusal to honor my compensation claim makes this airline unreliable, even for premium passengers. I strongly advise future travelers to be aware that Air Serbia may deny legitimate claims, and the first-class experience may not meet expectations.

They lost my luggage and didn't take responsibility. After 3 months of delaying on their part, and 4-5 inquiries by me after formal complaint, they suddenly claimed this was Tarom Airlines responsibility,as they flew the last leg under Air Serbia. I had made a formal complaint via Tarom, who forwarded it to the responsible party-Air Serbia. Some person at Air Serbia is now lying and saying, after 3 months of correspondence and dealy, that they do not care to do anything and that I should start from square one and contact Tarom- again.

First (and last) time I flew with them on Jan 2nd 2025 and all I have to say is: STAY AWAY from this so-called airline company. I was travelling from Oslo to Athens via Belgrade, and this could really be a very lengthy post, but I will spare you the particulars of my horror story and give you the main points instead: -Flight delayed 2 hrs at Oslo, no explanation given. -Upon arrival at Belgrade, clueless staff and no company representative who could responsibly answer questions and provide guidance. -Seriously unorganized transfer process from the airport to the hotel. Endlessly waiting for the bus and losing further time due to the amateur way of boarding the passengers. -Instead of taking us to our final destination in Athens, they flew us to Thessaloniki and exhausted us further, by being indecisive on which connecting flight we should board for Athens - at some point, to our absolute terror, they even suggested us to fly from Belgrade to Vienna and from there to Athens..!!!!!!! -Upon our arrival at Thessaloniki, our paid for luggage was appearing as unpaid at the system. I know at least another passenger who had to pay again for his already paid luggage. -In the meantime no counter available and no representative of the company at Thessaloniki and Athens airports - only a malfunctioning call center. -A trip supposed to last 6 hours (including layover), lasted well over 22 hrs... Need I say more? STAY AWAY...!!!! Are there any competent authorities monitoring the operation and performance of such companies? Why do passengers have to endure this? P.S. For what it's worth, I believe that their pilots are good - at least that was my experience.

Overall, Air Serbia is a good airline. The price is definitely worth it, but annoyingly, the only complimentary food and drink were water & a cookie. You could buy extra food which cost a decent amount of money. The staff service and the seat were also ok.

Terrible experience, they lost my 2 luggages ,Customer service total disaster, lack of professionalism, is very hard to get in touch with them and if you do them answer is ,,we don't know " ..I just transit Bulgaria to visit the country, now I am stuck here and I lost all my reservations for my next trip with no clothes for change..So please be careful and DON'T CHOOSE THIS COMPANY STAY FAR AWAY!!!

They lost my luggage on the 24th of June from our flight from Paris to Zadar and even now on the 27th of July, they have still not replied to my emails in regards to the whereabouts of my luggage or my claim for compensation. I would recommend anyone to never ever consider flying with Air Serbia as this situation has not only happened to me, but my entire group of twelve friends during our month travels to Europe. We all ended up having to spend an extra €200-300 buying new clothes, bags and toiletries, not to mention losing $1000 worth of belongings that I am being refused compensation for.

Serbia Air is a terrible airline. The flight was late. They lost my luggage. I have filed a lost baggage claim. They do not reply to email even thought they say they will in 24 hours. All phone numbers are "disconnected". How an airline is able to legally operate like this is horrifying. Please don't ever fly with them.

On August 13 we had a flight from Belgrad to JFK I had three luggage is one out of the three luggage is arrived at JFK we filed a claim at JFK for the two lost ledges I have sense hundreds of emails I’ve made hundreds of phone calls just trying to get a hold of someone at a AirSerbia You can’t get a hold of anybody you just get an automated response on the emails after four months I finally reached out to air Serbia in Chicago they are the only ones that gave me any kind of feedback is for months and I still don’t have my luggage is it’s four months and air Serbia has yet to tell me anything about my luggages I am convinced that an employees from Air Serbia Are stealing peoples luggage’s many people Are complaining that their baggage is are lost missing delayed and what makes that even worse is you can’t get a hold of a human on air Serbia in New York no one wants to take responsibility either they’re extremely overstaffed or extremely unprofessional I would say they check off on both

Getting worse year by year Selling business tickets when their lounge is closed. Cold and unfriendly check in even on business check in at Belgrade airport Delayed 5 hours !!!! Without a sorry or any kind of compensation. Not a single glass of water Never again. It’s better to fly on any low carrier instead of them Stuff on air and ground very unpleasant unfriendly and cold Bad bad bad.

The seats were decent, the low turbulence and landing was entertaining, the customer service was kind but busy, the food was delicious they also played music before and after the flight for motivation one of the only problems were that our flight was late and we waited 1 hour.

Paid for a ticket and now I´m left without a ticket and money - I´m very disappointed I bought an online ticket directly from Air Serbia´s website and the payment was successfully made, reservation code was issued without a problem, but they had some internal system problem issuing the electronic ticket. I´ve called support center and they´ve told me that they didn’t receive the payment and for that reason they can’t help me, even I had a printed reservation that indicated that the payment was made successfully. I called my bank and they confirmed that the funds are with the recipient and the refund must be initiated by them (in this case Air Serbia). Air Serbia wasn’t answering my mails and communicating by phone they confirmed that shortly I should receive the refund, refusing to confirm the same by mail and continuing forwarding me to resolve the problem with my bank. In other words, they´re not interested to solve the problem and trying to avoid extra labor. Finally, I´ve paid for something that I don´t possess, without a ticket for my flight and without my money back… I´m very disappointed with unprofessionalism that employees and Air Serbia in generally possesses.

Vor dem Abflug (Zürich -> Belgrad in Economy Klasse) habe ich von Air Serbia per Mail ein Angebot erhalten - zu Business Class zu upgraden. Ich entschied mich, das Angebot zu akzeptieren, jedoch nur für den Rückflug (Belgrad -> Zürich) weil ich einiges in Belgrad einkaufen wollte und dies hätte in nur einem Koffer keinen Platz mehr. Es kostete mich 95€, die grad von meiner Mastercard abgebucht wurden. Bei dem Checkin in Belgrad - Überraschung: ich habe kein Anrecht auf 2 Koffer, nur auf einen! Auf meine Reklamation, dass Business Class IMMER Allowance auf 2 Koffer beinhaltet, wurde mir erklärt dass auf alle Annähmlichkeiten der Business Class ich Anrecht habe - bis auf Koffer-Anzahl. Diese "Kleinigkeit" aber ist in der Upgrade-Angebot-mail von Air Serbia nicht zu finden!!! Auch dieser Argument wurde von Air Serbia Beamtin ignoriert. Am Ende musste ich für das "überschüssige" 11kG schweren Gepäckstück weitere 65€ zahlen! Ich vermute dass dies kein Zufall ist, sondern dass Air Serbia gezielt auf diese miese Art ihre Einkünfte ausbessert.

I bought a ticket for 18.06. however as I was prevented from traveling (corona virus) I had to postpone the flight for 02.07. I called the call center and they said I had to pay 90e because of the price difference. In the meantime, I had to reschedule the flight for 09.07. and again to pay another 50e. Due to the impossibility of traveling, I wanted to postpone the flight again, but since I no longer knew for which date I wanted to leave the ticket open and use it until the end of this year, which they did not allow, and I had to choose another date and pay 50e again. In the end, I did not want to pay for the postponement of the ticket again, and I asked for a refund. I paid 300e for the ticket and they only refunded me 55e for airport taxes. I couldn’t get the rest of the money because the flight was operational. Btw they don't reply to e-mails and the call center can hardly be reached.

I wanted to buy tickets on officall airserbia webpage when i came to the end the billing was 258 euros on screen.Photo! But when payment procesed they riped me off 27€ for reservation not 258€. Photo! I had to buy again for 258€. When i caled customer support they just said we will tranfer complain to another department. And they did nothing! I think that is their policy The price on web page is incorrect they charge extra! Then they send me 3 emails before flight if i want upgrade to business class(istanbul-belgrade) for charge. When i came to plane all seats are economy(like easyjet). Fraud! Avoid them

We were traveling with Air Serbia to Copenhagen & then taking a train to Gothenburg.As we are applying for Schengen visa & our last destination is Sweden we had to book those tickets in advance to present the papers to the embassy.We received 'FLIGHT CANCELLATION' email & we called the airline to understand the cause 'because of the poor situation in Lebanon' knowing that all airlines that are bigger than Air Serbia are still operating normally.They asked us to contact the head office,then later to contact the website where we got our tickets.This process took more than 2weeks,noting that we got our tickets in advance for a good price & now we will have to reschedule the last minute for an expensive price.They refused to refund our train tickets quoting the reason "This decision was reached taking into account the specific circumstances of your case-flight X was cancelled more than 14 days before flight”.We had our legit reasons to purchase our train tickets in advance!I will have to purchase new ones due to them not being able to commit to their flying schedule.I DON’T RECOMMEND FLYING WITH THEM!Pay a bit more for your ticket & get the peace of mind.

The worst airline I have ever used! They have a monopoly on certain routes, so the prices are extremely high even if you buy tickets largely in advance. For example, for a short flight on a route such as Milan-Belgrade, the price is never under 200€, for a basic tariff, where the service is equivalent to the one of low cost companies (i.e. only hand baggage, no food/drinks, free check-in only if done online etc). So, the passenger pays very high price for a ticket without basic services. I would also mention that other airlines decided to exit the market for unfair competition, so a passenger has no alternatives if he wants to fly direct. I also had bad experience when they just canceled my return ticket, probably for overbooking. When I asked for explanations, the stuff was extremely impolite and I never got my money back. One day before the flight for which I bought ticket two months in advance, I had to buy another ticket with another airline.

Worst low-cost airline of all time. It started with a large ambitious, warm meal on all flights, drinks and ended with over-restrictive language and carry-on policy. Not to mention that they even break TSA locks and steal passenger belongings. I hope that Etihad will stop pumping money into this lousy airline.

We have stopped flying JAT after few flights Dubai - Belgrade and after Air Serbia started operations very enthusiastically we resumed using that company for our annual flights to Belgrade, but never again. Issues with cabin service, even in business class and service center not picking phone call for lost bags...once more, never again!

Flew several times with them but this is where i draw the line. - Lost our luggage and after 3 days since we landed, they are unable to deliver it although they had promised to do so the evening on the day we landed. Customer service rarely picks up the phone and their delivery service is extremely rude and did not honor 2 appointments we scheduled with them so far. Three days later we are still waiting for our luggage to be delivered. - From terrible to almost nothing that can be regarded as food even though this is not a budget airline. In our last flight they randomly gave to people super tiny cheese or meat sandwiches without asking people what they would like, since they did not have enough of either option for people to choose from (our first leg was over 2 hours long). - Bad service on the ground with multiple unnecessary checks of the same documents at different checkpoints (In Belgrade checked passport and boarding card before the gate, at the gate, during x-ray and before getting on the transfer bus!). - Service on the air is average at best. Flight attendants are completely disconnected from passengers with robot-like behavior. - To the most part, old planes with worn-of

My experience with Air Serbia is bad. On my way to JFK I had an accident and ended up at the hospital. I did manage to cancel my flight 3h prior to the flight. In addition I have sent them all necessary proofes (admition to the hospital, doctors opinion and photos) and they told me that I need to pay for the new ticket since I was not hospitalized. Too bad! Not professional at all!

When Air Serbia began, the flights were reasonable. However as prices started going up, the quality of flight was decreasing. Not only are the seats very uncomfortable but the meals are small sandwiches (instead of hot meals like before). After 'lunch' no one was offered tea or coffee. This flight is extremely behind compared to other cheap airlines. The fact that they are able to charge such a large sum of money for a return flight from London to Belgrade is unacceptable considering the quality of flight. What's more, they started charging for booking seats (on top of the +£500)!

Very unsatisfide with the experience. I traveled with Air Serbi from NYC to Belgrade several times already and when it was first lauched the service that excellent, but I can't say the same now. The service is poor. I believe many airlines have better service in economy cabin. The food is very bad. I ordered vegetarian, but the flight attendant told me they don't have it anymore. Then I saw a person next to me was eating vegetarian. Almost impossible to get attention of flight attendants. Much worse service than it used to be. For the money you pay this air line is not worth it. I much rather fly with another airline than this one. When it comes to business class they are way behind the competition.

I have missed my flight yesterday 28 of june and was looking to rebook for the next day. At the airport there is no way of finding an Air Serbia representative, they just don't have one! The service desk doesn't provide ticket change or new ticket issuing service and must be on hold for a half hour before being able to contact Air Serbia call centre. This arrangement is appalling The Azzurra ladies at the ticket desk went above and beyond to make sure i got on the flight the today. A big thank you to them but still not happy with Air Serbia!

Flew AUH-BEG on Airbus A319. I connected from Etihad flight from Melbourne and the connection was efficient. Once been bussed out to the aircraft the Cabin Crew upon entering were very courteous and polite. The flight was full as it was peak northern summer and the crew handled the onboard service well. I was a little bit annoyed no inflight entertainment was available for the 5hr+ flight as they encouraged the use of the WiFi system in which was slow and no seat power for my devices. The food was good and enjoyed it. Drinks were available at any opportunity. I really enjoyed the experience and so much so I have travelled another 5 times with them! Keep up the good work.

Old aircrafts (used ATRs), late in departure, missing connections and poor service on-board. They provide service lower than low coat cartiers whole tryoing to sell premium service providet pocture. Avoid by all cost.

Well i am disappointed with kindness of staff. Year ago they were more polite and kind. They are missing most important part of uniform: SMILE!! I think that girls need trainig-refresher of how important is to smile to us.

My second flight with AirSerbia. On time, friendly staff and of course, excellent food. After avoiding JAT for many years, this is huge improvement. Unfortunately still no direct flights to CYYZ.

Both my wife and I had an excellent experience flying with Air-Serbia. We were treated with warmth, kindness, respect, and unprecedented customer service. The entire crew and staff made us feel at home. Their attention to detail is impressive: everything from making sure our headphones were working properly to ensuring we were satisfied with our meals to grabbing an extra blanket if they noticed we may be cold; those actions made us feel cared for and not just another passenger on a flight. Despite being one of the smaller airline carriers, their professionalism and integrity is unmatched. Thank you for the unforgettable experience. We look to fly again with you. over 6 hours total delay time in four flights over a three day period. The ground staff came to anounce the delay at belgrade airport in serbian and she just left. i went to ask her what she said and then she said it in english....lost my baggage, help desk was not even answering for hours...then they told me the godly "its not our problem" ....baggage seems gone

Very good on board services, very friendly staff. Unfortunately very poor service at the Belgrade airport. My luggage got lost, what may happen, but they simply don't care about, the man behind the desk prefers to play with his mobile phone instead. Impossible to call them. They have my phone number and e-mail address, but don't give any news. This is a pity, as the staff working in the airplane really tries to produce a very good image. But this impression gets lost as soon as you arrive at the airport.

Last month traveled from Belgrade to London and all I can say is the flight was one the best I ever had. Food was tasty had choice of two different meals, beverages as many as you want alcoholic and non alcoholic, seats with pitch of 32", cabin crew very professional and polite. Air Serbia rocks.

Wonderful experience. Belgrade to Abu Dhabi. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and polite. The food was excellent. I would definately fly with Air Serbia again. There was not entertainment, but not a big deal.

Experienced very friendly and courteous service on board Air Serbia A319 BEG - SVO. Welcome drink was served and they distributed the best looking menu that I have ever seen in the airline industry. Right after take off they took orders and brought in aperitifs with warm delicious nuts. Food tasty and plenty of refills without having to ask for service. Departure / arrival on time despite poor weather conditions in Moscow. Several cockpit announcements made keeping us informed about flight conditions. Great service onboard with a lot of attention to details and making you feel welcome. Upon arrival after passing passport control luggage was already delivered. Overall 10 out of 10!

Flew twice in 2015. One was a short flight with some quite old jet, but quite satisfying, and the other was a longer distance. Excellent staff, excellent food and beverages, no entertainment, but who needs one for a 2-hour flight, decent space, good service.

I flew 2 times with Air Serbia from Frankfurt International Airport to Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. The flight was pretty cheap so i did not expect a lot of service.. BUT the plane was clean and very new, the staff dressed well and very polite. Every information given could be understood. I had a sandwich and orange juice on this 2h flight and everything was tasty (just as tasty as sandwiches in planes can be). Water, cola, juices, coffee and tea have been availible - thats only what i have seen. I think there has been a bigger varity . The landing was very soft and the flight very silent. The first flight was with JAT and a half year later it got renamed in Air Serbia. Absolutely recommendable.

I flew from Belgrade to Amsterdam in October of 2015. There was nothing incredibly bad or good about the flight. It was a short flight in the early morning and they provided a decent breakfast. There weren't any entertainment systems on the flight, but I didn't really expect any for such a short flight. I boarded, sat down, ate and arrived at my destination. Good enough. Traveled from Toronto to London. Connecting flight to Belgrade was with Air Serbia. They don't have enough room in the plane for all the carry-on baggage, which is a big disadvantage, I had to put my bags underneath my seat. My luggage got lost and it has been a week without any answers. There is a complete lack of interest on their part, to try and find the luggage. They keep repeating the same thing over and over "we put an urgent notice on your luggage and that's the best we can do!" We that's not enough! Being an airline financed by the Arabs, you need to be more diligent! God forbid I ever have to fly with them again, I will kill myself. Completely disappointed with their customer service.
