On 21.01.23 there were two departures from Bangkok by Aeroflot, at 11:30 and 13:35. Aeroflot didn't get the right number of passengers for 2 flights, and they decided to save money. The way I see it, in that situation they should have warned the passengers at least 24 hours before departure that everyone was flying at 1:35 pm and departed at 1:35 pm. What actually happened? L'aereo usato per i voi Milano-Mosca ha parecchio spazio per le gambe e un buon cibo. Non c'è lo schermo per l'intrattenimento ma in complesso lo consiglio. Sulla tratta Mosca-Phuket invece c'è pochissimo spazio per le gambe l'intrattenimento è sufficiente e il cibo passabile. Riguardo al personale del check in, a parte a Milano sono scortesi e per niente orientato alla soddisfazione del cliente

When my dad passed away, he wanted to be buried in his home city - Saint-Petersburg. After a consultation with Aeroflot and Russian Embassy, we understood that in order to travel with funeral urn, we need to collect, translate and legalize few documents. When I arrived at Sheremetyevo airport on 11.12.2019,I asked once again the representatives of Aeroflot, if I can travel further and is everything all right. They told me that all the documents are correct. On 12.12.2019 I arrived in Vnukovo airport. At the registration desk, the representative of Aeroflot/Russian airlines told me, that I am not allowed to travel with the urn and that is company policy. I told her, that I collected all the required documents and that I traveled from Sofia to Moscow with Aeroflot and with funeral urn in my luggage.They didn't know the company policy at all. After a 10 minute call, they told me, that I can transport the urn with cargo but not on the plane, but if I do so, I will miss the plane, so the best I can do is to buy a ticket for their next flight.

I have never traveled with such an unprofessional airline. Did not reach the other flight. A lot of other passengers had the same problem and there was a very long queue where you had to stand for about 100 minutes before getting help since they had only staffed two people. The staff cant communticate in English. It seems that all those employed by this airline hate their lives, they are on their cell phones rather than coming up with menus when you sit down at the restaurants, they do not smile at all and show that they are not interested in providing good customer care. We have never experienced vare the like ever. We have met at least 30 people who say they will never travel with this airline again. HR has failed miserably on which staff are employed in the company, and it is clear that it is control-based / financial-based HR, rather than a commitment-based HR.

First flight was a connecting flight from zurich to moscow sheremetievo and then to tolyo narita.our flight started more than 1 hour later without explanation in english. We missed the second föight and waited for them to find a solution for at least an hour. Then we had to run through the airport in 7 minutes to catch a flight to peking. In peking no one could speak english or did understand what our problem was. We had to change glight and had to stop additionally in shanghai. Everxtime with check in and security. No one told us about the second stop. At last in tokyo our luggage was missing. On our flight back they lost our luggage again. Never again.

Aeroflot deceived its customers! 1. Flight SU 291 Hanoi - Moscow Sheremetyevo (HAN-SVO) at 10:45 on 06 Apr 2019 was delayed until 14:16,. This resulted in the cancellation of my second Moscow - Paris CDG flight (A ticketed by Aeroflot SU2460 - departure at 19:35 the same day April 6) and led to my cancellation of Paris CDG. 2. Through the SU291, I have arrived to Moscow Sheremetyevo about 20:00 Moscow time (6 April). After an hour of waiting in line (there were a lot of cases of passengers like me, about 150 passengers), the officer Aeroflot told me that I needed to wait until 22:00 to meet another staff who will give me the hotel voucher to sleep overnight. - 22:00 Aeroflot: come back here at 23:00, we will answer! - 23:00:Aeroflot: we are waiting confirm-invitation from Hotel! Wait until 24:00! - 24:00: Aeroflot did not receive any invitation from Hotel, we have not any more information! Please evaluate yourself and decide whether to choose Aeroflot - a major airline that deceives and treats your passengers so badly!

My wife and son flew Aeroflot with a connection through Sheremyetova, Aeroflot's central hub. The flight from Almaty touched down in Moscow on time, but passengers had to wait 20 minutes on the plane for the terminal bus, and then for all passengers to disembark. The stewardess assured my wife that if the connecting flight was missed, "they will give you seats on the next flight." By the time my wife and son cleared the security check, the boarding gate for their flight to JFK had already closed. Aeroflot desk agents told my wife that the missed connection was her fault and she would have to pay full fare for the onward journey, more than $1,700! Many other people were in the same situation. A little old Russian lady tells an agent, "I can't pay, I don't have any money, I spent all my pension on the first ticket." The Aeroflot agent responds, "Don't you have any relatives you can call that could pay for your ticket?" This is brazen fraud, in the broad light of day, aggravated by real, criminal elements of hostage-taking and extortion.

This review is specifically about a check in employee of Aeroflot. My parents (both in their 70's) and I had shopped in the airport and had a few bags in hand. Understandably, we were asked to consolidate the bags so that each of us had 2 bags. We obliged, meeting both weight requirements and having our bags fit inside the sample box of the acceptable hand bag items. She seemed to have a personal vengeance making us go back and forth twice to the weighing table even though another employee had already done so. She even brought out a measuring tape. Each item was under 5 pounds. I had a plastic bag with clothing and she made me further consolidate because the height was a millimeter above the height requirement. She was so incredibly harsh with our bags that she ripped the handles off of a recyclable bag I had in addition to ripping in its entirety a plastic bag I had with items purchased in the airport. Another male employee was supporting me and even taking photos to share back with management. I will never fly this airline ever again.

My daughter flew with Aeroflot and due to horrendous queues at passport check and security, a connecting flight was missed along with 100’s of other people. She alerted airport staff at security check and was told to push to the front. Other passengers pushed her back shouting that they too were about to miss their flights. WIFI is almost impossible to use at Moscow, so without communications she was understandably very upset to have missed her flight. The staff at the airport were extremely rude and unhelpful telling her it was her fault that she missed the connection, however with hundreds of other people all missing connecting flights it would appear not. She had to queue for another hour just to talk to customer service...... With no other options, we had to book her another ticket at considerable expense and then told that her return flight was invalid, due to her missing the connecting flight. So yet another expense booking her flight home. One of the busiest times of the year, you can imagine how much money we have spent on these flights. Response from customer service took exactly 1 month. A long winded message to say, she checked in at Heathrow accepting the transit time and ticket conditions, so there is nothing they will do. I have posted on local facebook pages asking if anyone has had the same issue. It's remarkable how many people have faced the exact same problem and even more who have lost or had their baggage damaged. I even had people respond who had been on other flights transiting at the same time and told me of the chaos. My advise is to avoid this airline at all cost!

The flight was the worst experience of my life. Aircraft - old and small Food - pathetic (wont even serve my pet dog) Inflight staff - rude and has no knowledge. Gives wrong information Flight - the original flight was delayed by the company and due to ehich our connecting flight to delhi was missed by merely 10mins. We flight all family (5people) from Jakarta to Alicante to visit our family for Christmas. In each stop we need to wait hours to get the boarding pass. They didn't give us in Jakarta. After that, our luggage has never arrived and we still waiting. We are in winter and we have nothing to wear and is Christmas time, a lot of shops are closed We are desperate and no one is doing anything. We pay a business ticket for nothing

Iam running my own travel agency, i tried this airlines for my passengers to sell your airlines with confidently. But now i will not recommend my passengers and as well as my other travel agents, friends and family. this not worth airlines to travel, Inflight services are not good and as well food quality is very low. In case of luggage, If you lost /delay/damaged luggage then after that services are very poor, staff is very rude and non-cooperative. There staff thinks that they owned the airlines and treat passengers as they are nothing in front of them and treat them very badly. As always Aeroflot is the most cranky and unprofessional airline. Flying back to Almaty, Kazakhstan from Rome, Italy thorough mighty Moscow, Russia I encountered another weird problem, my luggage wouldn’t have gone directly to Almaty as a transit item, instead I had to get out of transit zone crossing the border, then pick up my luggage from the conveyor, cover another 900 m to another terminal with the luggage and afterwards check it into the flight from Moscow to Almaty!!! That was so inconvenient and stressful taking into consideration typical sluggishness оf Sheremetievo services. The passport control officer asked about purpose of visit to Russia what could I have told her? I said to pick up my luggage! Later I was told by Aeroflot check-in boy that that is sort of “customs rules” and Aeroflot has nothing to do with it. Strange hearing it, as if there are no customs in Kazakhstan. I sincerely believe that such monster as Aeroflot could have fixed that kind of situations not really convenient for its passengers however they are not inclined to do anything. Another problem is servicing meals on board, normally the airlines start servicing passengers with meals, starting from the beginning to cabin centre and from the centre to the end engaging two crews of flight attendants with trolleys, on my flight there was only one crew servicing the whole economy cabin. I asked flight attendant called Valentin why was that. The explanation was given as if they have shortage of flight attendants. Strictly for the birds! I saw lots of them idling in business class doing totally nothing since in business class only three chairs were occupied!

I flied to China from Italy with the necessary things to stay long term, arrived only with my backpack with a couple snacks and a laptop. The flight from Italy to Moscow was delayed and I lost the connection to Guangzhou, rapidly I got switched to another flight to Beijing and then Guangzhou, being assured that I would get my luggage too in Guangzhou. I knew that when you switch to a local flight in China you must get your luggage at the entry airport, so I asked the gate crew and have been assured again that in this case they would take care of the transfer. Arrived in Guanghzou of course my bag was not there. The Beijing-Guanghzhou flight was operated by China Southern, where I left immediately a report (PIR) then waited, calling twice a day them, Aeroflot and finally Beijing airport before knowing after almost a week that my baggage was waiting for me at the Beijing customs and they could not release it because it would need my authorization. No one from Aeroflot and China Southern ever informed me about this or gave me a clue that they even were aware of. Finally, I got my authorization delivered and my bag collected by a colleauge in Beijing. Meanwhile, from Aeroflot and China Southern, I was still hearing that my luggage was in the follow up search. Thank you, to my company's assistant GM and our colleague in Beijing.

Terrible service. Spend a lot of time under the freezing rain. Transportation from terminal to the board - like rush hour in Tokyo. No any meat in menu ( business class). Brrr.

Service was professional, attentive and friendly. The lunch menu listed six (!) courses: appetizer, entree, salad, soup, choice of three main courses and dessert. In addition there was a light meal before landing. The cabin was spotless and clean. Seats are flat bed in 2+2+2 seat configuration, which is OK considering the B777's big cabin width. Very good value for the money, especially if you buy the ticket in advance.

I traveled on 10/11/17. I was not lucky because I had a huge man next to my seat 9D. His left arm and shoulder were pushing me constantly toward the other side of my seat; I was very uncomfortable. I moved to one of the free seats of row 8 (exit door's row) were 4 of the 6 seats were free. A crew attendant came immediately and ordered me to move back to my assigned seat because all seats of row 8 were already taken. Lie, we were already flying for more than half hour! I explained the reason of my change and I asked for another seat. The only one available was in the last row where seats don't recline and are uncomfortable. I expressed my disappointment, but it didn't change their attitude, justifying it with Aeroflot policy. I also offered to pay for the change with no result. This is not absolutely an airline to be compared with other European and American airlines.

Most horrible airline ever! I have flown several times with aeroflot because KLM works with them and they are the worst! Flight canceled or delayed 2 hours before. Even when i had a transfer in SVO they canceled my connecting flight to VOZ without warning or saying anything. I waited at the gate and only there i found out it was delayed for 8 hours!! And what i get for compansation? Nothing!!! 2 times already they lost my baggage and 1 time i didnt even get the back! (Read still waiting for it!!) Very bad company that should be closed for business forever!!!

It took us ONE HOUR to check in and then (and only then) did they tell us we owed 100 Euros (50 E/flight) because my husband's bag (which he always flies with and flew on the EXACT same plane to Athens with- Airbus A321) is "too big" for their miniature sized carry on requirements. No curtesy from the attendants other than a couple apologies combined with excuses about the system (which functioned fine for 20 other passengers while we waited). THEN, just for fun they did double security (bag search, shoes off, body pat down) at the gate. To top things off, the assistant promised us exit row seats as compensation and we instead ended up crammed into two wing seats with no leg room while those two seats remained open. Worst two flights ever with the worst service I have ever received.

Surprised! Very positive experience. Departure and arrival on time!!! and that during a busy summer holiday period. Very clear fleet, Friendly flight crew. Special attention for kids, even if they are already teens. Excellent meal served even in economy class, and that for a flight of only 1 hour! Economy seats with much space both in front as between, very unxepected vs European companies! + free newspapers. Next time will defenetely book again with Aeroflot, very recommended!!!

Все конечно прекрасно в России, кроме Аэрофлота. И я даже на начинаю свой пост с того, что мой багаж НЕ ПЕРВЫЙ раз теряют. Сегодня мы с родным должны были лететь из Москвы в Минск а потом в США ( все на аэрофлоте). Конечно, я понимаю, погодные условия и все такое! Но наши билеты 1000$ с каждого, нас трое - т.е. $3,000! Шевелится ли здесь кто-нибудь! Нет! Сначала посылают в разные кассы только бы избавится. В 12 часов ночи в service desk нам сказали, что их рабочее время окончено и все окошки просто закрыли! Десятки человек, которые должны были улететь, даже не получил свои ответы на вопросы! Привет, российский сервис! Привет, сервис Аэрофлота! Бедные ребята которые работали всю ночь не получили никакой помощи от начальства. А когда народ просил начальство прийти, никто не потрудился появится. В информационной будке работали только 3 человека от которых не возможно было получить ответа. Когда снимали с самолёта, пообещали гостиницу - мест не осталось пока доехали, потом пообещали матрасы - не на всех хватило. Дети спали на полу и лавках. Надеюсь, что все изменится и нас сейчас начнут слушать сотрудники компании!

Absolutely horrible company with no respect to the passengers! They just cancelled the flight 5 hours before the take off. They don't provide viable alternatives such as hotel or even food vouchers! They give max. 2$ food voucher! Never again I am going to use Aeroflot!

Very poor costumer service. No refund for the purchase of nessecary products, clothes after a delayed arrival of my checked luggage of 4 days on the way to Shanghai. And on the way back, I had to stay on an airbed in a terminal that I had to wait for until 00.00 in the night. The coupons for food could only be used in 2 places. The flights were very comfortable but as soon as one thing goes wrong your get basically nothing.

Great for the price. 3 hour leg with inflight entertainment in economy class And free food too so I think great value for 275 Pounds LHR-SVO-EVN On the LHR to SVO leg a A330 was operated with inflight screens for each seat in their economy class service. This off course made the flight pass by easy. Transit in SVO was fast and the medium 3 hour flight to Yerevan in A321 only had sandwiches and drinks. Next time I am buying in Burger King at SVO. There were no issues with luggage on the flight to Yerevan but in the returning flight my luggage got lost in SVO. Must be due to short transit time I assume.

They are kind of lazy and don't give a ****. They gave my friend the wrong ticket when arriving in Moscow (actually they screwed this up for the other guy, if you think about it) and said ups! Then they didn't do anything about it and said "it's fine you can board with the print-out boarding pass". I wonder if she hadn't had 2 copies, what would have happened? On the ticket you have the baggage code and everything, so in case something happened with the luggage ... But why bother?

We buy ticket from Aeroflot, Your Flight is from Yerevan to Moscow and Moscow to St Petersburg. Just look at the time... Departure 07:20 Tue, 1 Nov Arrival 09:10 Tue, 1 Nov Departure 10:45 Tue, 1 Nov Arrival 12:05 Tue, 1 Nov And when we finish our first registration and take your baggage, It was already 10:05 and we try to do our second registration but they say registration is finished you late 5 minut. I should add that we have registered the first. It mean that Aeroflot sell to you ticket, which is impossible to do i am lost more than 180 $ and Stay on Airport.

AIRLINE FROM HELL Used the services from Delhi to Barcelona via Moscow. The first leg ( 6 hrs) was in a two raw aircraft with no in flight entertainment whatsoever, there was not even a common screen, the service was rude and self important, food was not edible. The connecting flight was dirty and the food continued to be terrible. When I landed in Barcelona my suitcase was destroyed and whilst I understand they outsource the ground service their customer service response was none existent and equally rude if you ever got through. The team at Barcelona Airport stated that they couldn't do anything and I should contact CS via email through their website, which I did, 40 days later there was no answer. I had to plea to the Barcelona team to deal with it, I was asked for hard copies and to deliver the broken suitcase to their offices. Which I did, to find the office close at working hours (hours stated on their window) I knocked on the glass someone then came out who took the paper and suitcase, I followed up with an email and a call ( was told the person dealing with was not in office so no clue) and woman put the phone down . WORST EVER EXPERIENCE in all accounts.

I called Aeroflot and told that we're going to be late for our flight and asked if we can change the tickets. They told that tickets aren't refundable or changeable but said that I can request the tex that hasn't been used. Our flight was from Yerevan-Moscow-LAX and we were being late for Yerevan flight but others were fine but representative didn't told me that in order to request the tax I have to cancel my other flights. After buying another tickets and finally arrived to our destination I called to request my tax but now they're saying that because I didn't cable my flight I can't get my tax back. So unfair. First time they said I can and request it anytime but now they told that I can't. I even asked their supervisor but he hung up on me after telling the same thing. I called 1(866)879-7647 and spoke with Daniel who said he's a supervisor. After all he and the other girl told that I can just write them a negative Review but that's the only thing I can do. What a rude customer service they have.

We were extremely pleasantly surprised by our Aeroflot flight from Moscow to Los Angeles, a 12 hour flight. We flew a different airline on the way to Europe, and it was pretty bad, so we weren't expecting much from Aeroflot. The difference was evident right from the start. Helpful and attentive flight attendants. A blanket, pillow, slippers and eye mask on every seat. Beverages offered every hour. An enormous selection of media to choose from. A USB port at every seat. Wifi. Really good food. We will be flying Aeroflot whenever possible in the future!

I love Aeroflot-Russian Airlines! Had a great experience flying from Moscow to New York great food unlimited complementary wine! ;) Great selection of movies and entertainment. Beautiful flight attendants!! Thank you Aeroflot for a beautiful experience! Will fly again :)

I flew from US to Moscow, Russia, than took a shorter flight to St.Petersburg. The long flight was on an older plane (I flew on newer one to the same destination before) so the seats where a little dirtier. It still had personal TV screens in economy though, and movie selection was really good. Food was mostly ok, the cake served for dinner was stellar. There is an option for free wine. Only complaint was there was not hand soup in one of the bathrooms. Second, shorter, flight was awesome! My whole party got randomly upgraded to business class at boarding (HUGE SUPRISE). Service was amazing, food was amazing (four course upscale menu), and free champagne and large comfy seats. Really good value!

Flight from Altau (Kaz) via Moscou to Amsterdam. Far better than I suspected. In the past i have flown with Aeroflot to Wladiwostok. They have greatly improved.

I flew with Aeroflot from France to go to Japan. It was my first flight with this company (and the last) and it was just horrible. I didn't expect it to be the best because it was not expensive but still, there is always a minimum.. If I knew I would definitely have preferred to pay much more money than to fly with Aeroflot. The seats were so uncomfortable especially that there was no space for the legs (I'm only 166cm high/56 kg). The service wasn't good, for example they serve the drinks and two hours later the meal! and they don't take the plates after you finish eating. You have to go yourself to give it back otherwise you'll have to wait for two hours more. So basically you have to bear with the plane tray table during almost the whole flight and considering the small space it's just annoying and painful for the legs. In general I didn't find the people very respectful and professional. And by the way if you stop in Moscow then you need to get a transit visa beforehand. This company is just a headache and I will never ever take it again. I definitely don't recommend it.

To be honest, we didn't really mind the bad food, old seating and mediocre in-flight service. It was a conscious decision to pay a little less, so that we would have a bit more money to spend in Tokyo. What really bothered us, though, was an unexpected fine of a 100 euros, for 'excess baggage'. While, it is explicitly stated in the terms and conditions that flights from Moscow to Tokyo allow for two pieces of luggage, at the airport we were confronted with entirely different rules. Confusing, and annoying. And, all things considered, not worth it at all.

Horrible flying experience Flight from Moscow to st Petersburg got cancelled so we got moved to the next one (1h40 later) but had to leave the security area and queue for check in again. In the queue they made us wait an hour for all the passengers of the next flight to go through so they wouldn't allocate the same seats twice. All the staff were unhelpful, especially to the non Russian speakers and were focusing on shooting a commercial for the airline rather than assisting the confused passengers. I would not recommend this airline to anyone. I was debating between taking the fast train or flying. Next time I won't hesitate!

Becous of delays, and the meeting hwith the staff on ground, i can not recomand Aeroflot to any of my famely or frends, or enyone. Becose of delay i was sitten in the aerport from 16,00 to 03.00 in the naigth. then hotell for 2 houers, 06.00. back to the aerport and wait. plain leving 11.30. for oslo. Never more Aeroflot. NO service when problems, cost by aeroflot. Service onbord was good.

Flew Aeroflot from Helsinki to Tokyo via Moscow and back last spring. Tempting airfare with an efficient schedule. I was a little anxious about the change of planes in Moscow, of whether transit visa or such would be needed etc, and anyway knowing the outre way Russian authorities often work. Well, the reality was indeed a very positive surprise! Planes was almost brand new, transit in SVO didn't require any major procedures differing it from a change of planes at any other airport. The Diners Club lounge at Moscow was very nice (same as Aeroflot uses for Business Class). On the Japan-bound flight the food was a little plain but on the way back it was really good for economy, even sushi was on the menu! Also ice cream was served mid-flight as a surprise. It must be said that, despite of my prejudices, long gone are the days of Aeroflot flying old Tupolevs. It really was a pleasant experience and I am eager to try their Business Class product next time i fly them. They even had proper Business Class seating in their short haul aircrafts which differs them from many airlines. I would say that, at least this time Aeroflot offered a better product than many more familiar carriers.

Sometime when you see bad passengers reviews it makes you messed and surprised are we flu by the same airline?! I am flying with Aeroflot more than 20 years and can say that it improve their quality every year. It becomes better and better. If I would compare Aeroflot with Delta or United I say that it is in some aspects much better. Nice smily staff. Quite good and tasty food and beverages. Enough comfortable seats in economy class. For long leg pax in economy Aeroflot has more space seats for additional charge. Not so high service in airports. Only long distance flight has entertainment systems onboard. For some annoying, nervous and scandal maker passengers I would say if you are not agree with the rules of the company go to the court and to prove your rights in it. 7 star for this carrier ******* Good luck and to have a nice flights to all travelers! ;)

I traveled in May 2015, the Stockholm-Moscow-Stockholm. I received great service and attention. No trouble checking in, luggage or passportcontrol. From now on I fly regularly with Aeroflot.

I flew with Aeroflot from Frankfurt Int. Airport to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport. The Staff was very polite and the service was pretty good in the view of the price. All meals and drinks were included. The flight was very good even the weather wasn't nice. There were fresh blankets on every seat and the plane was clean. The informations given by the staff were understandable even they had a russian accent. I can recommend Aeroflot.

I was late by like 10 minutes and they absolutely refused to cooperate, I asked them if they can refund some of my money and it was a straight no. They didn't even try to put me in a different flight. To my great surprise they cancelled all my return tickets too! Like WTH!. worst worst worst customer service. If you are running an airline have the sense to help your customers who are spending 1300$ on your god forsaken service!

Last night I returned to home without my luggauge. Despite numerous attempts from destination luggauge department, Aeroflot still did not bother to send my luggauge along with a few people. I also personally attemtpted to call their lost baggage department during working hours but no answer. When considering number of people on the queue from the same day (2 out 3 flights), it is very interesting to see such lost ratio. I have travel insurance but there are stuff that cannot be replaced with money. Russian authorties already don;t have any human feelings so they even not bothering about anything. Make yourself a favour and pay a few bucks extra and get a proper airlines.

I attempted to get the attention of a stewardess, and she ignored me and quickly began an excited conversation with another passenger in Russian. I brushed this off and found another stewardess to help me. After the next encounter it became apparent that I was receiving a lesser standard of treatment than other passengers. I am a mixed race black female, Marine Veteran, graduate student, business woman, and athlete. I'm polished, articulate, and genteel; I have never been discriminated against for exhibiting immoral low class behavior nor do I allege discriminatory treatment based on race lightly.
