    My husband and I have just had the misfortune to fly with this airline. I have never been on such an awful flight ever!

    We were rammed in like sardines, my husband who is average height just about had his knees under his chin. The seats were narrow so you became well acquainted with your neighbour. The aircraft was too hot and air conditioning inadequate. Menus of the food they were selling were not available so the in-flight service took forever which inconvenienced anyone wanting to use one of the two toilets aboard.

    I have never known so many children on a flight given it was not school holidays, most of who screamed and cried for all four and half hours. The adults no better as they too seemed to have no volume control either. The staff made no effort to ask parents to control their children or to assist with suggestions of how distract them or ease their distress. I have flown with football fans after a long delay at Heathrow and that was far less noisy. We thought the flight out was maybe just bad luck, however the return flight was just as awful.

    Over 8 months since Corendon lost my suitcase and I’m still waiting for a resolution. I accepted their offer of payment 12 weeks ago and they stated it would be received in 8-10 weeks. Still no sign of payment and their customer services are not interested in helping. A quick search on Twitter shows I’m not the only one currently in this position with numerous people complaining of similar issues in receiving the compensation they are legally entitled to. They seem to be trying to increase their offering from UK airports this year but can’t even resolve their issues from last year. Regardless of how they cheap they may be it’s not worth risking flying with them. If you do encounter problems and need to contact them (which it seems many have) you will be left frustrated and most likely out of pocket

    No online check-in available, airport check-in very slow.

    Boarding took an age, Crew did little to speed it up other than getting frustrated with passengers, departure delayed by an hour.

    Old aircraft (OM-FEX). In need of a deep clean, seat pockets full of crumbs, rubbish and half eaten food. Parts of cabin interior lining falling off

    Very tight seat configuration, bearable for a short hop but painful for a 4 hour+ flight.

    In flight service also slow, took an hour to reach row 7. No card payments, cabin crew didn’t seem to know what products they had or where they were in the trolley, no ice for drinks.

    Unfriendly crew, seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves that addressing the poor behaviour of passengers (kids climbing over seats, throwing water at each other, passengers lying across 3 seats blocking the aisle with their feet).

    Booked a flight 27.06. Received the confirmation immediately..
    Credit card showed the payment of some € 570
    On the 30th I received an email that my refund has been paid and shall be visible within 15 working days with the comment that the call center would not be able to give me any information.
    I was a bit surprised and wanted to check if I could get into my online reservation but did not have access any longer. The booking was not found.
    This left me with the impression that my booking was cancelled. I booked another flight with another company.
    After receiving another mail that my flight would start soon, I called and learned that nothing was cancelled.
    That I supposedly paid double at checkout and that, as honest as they are, they immediately refunded one payment. And that I could cancel the flight to get a € 270 refund
    The trick cost me € 300

    Flying from zakynthos to amsterdam, corendon didn’t appear on the online departure lists from zakynthos.
    A bit worried we found they were leaving after all. The flight was hosted by Detur, another turkish airline. We ended up departing almost an hour late due to “unfinished paperwork” and “Busy traffic”. I’ve flown many times from zakynthos but never experienced this. feels like we’re dealing with amateurs.
    Also smallest leg space i’ve seen so far.
