even would choose ryanair
Flight cancelled, we were stuck in Poland for days. Wizz Air gave us wrong information, offered little help, and delayed our reimbursement for months. They said they had paid, but the money never arrived. We only got it after escalating to Polish ADR.
Avoid Wizz Air. At Malpensa, staff gave incorrect UK immigration advice, refused a supervisor, contradicted themselves and wasted the time until we missed our flight. We had valid settled status and were left paying €390.98 to get home. Formal claims filed.
Refused fair handling during a medical emergency (brain tumour, craniotomy). Submitted cancellation well in advance, provided all requested medical docs, yet cases were mishandled, merged, delayed and ignored. No empathy or proper review.
During the flight me and my wife had met on the free seats to share a meal together. As we just had started a flight attendant emerged to inform us, that we need to pay for that seats. After explanation from us he threatened us to come back soon to gather money. What a pettiness
Awful experience with Wizz Air. Paid £110 for 10kg baggage, then forced to pay £68.59 more at the gate due to confusing rules between checked vs onboard bags. No refund for unused service. Double-charging-DO NOT use them!
Very poor experience with WizzAir. Paid £110 for 10kg baggage, then forced to pay £68.59 more at the gate due to confusing rules between checked vs onboard bags. No refund for unused service. Unfair double-charging-be very careful when booking.
I had to pay $253 CAD at the airport for boarding passes, the website was down. Customer service didn’t provide a refund, and management was unhelpful. Not the smoothest experience.
