Fiji Airways review by Jim 2014-10-19

    We were booked to fly on October 15 at 6.30am to Fiji. When we arrived to check in at Sydney airport at 5.00am we learned the flight was cancelled and a replacement could not be arranged for 12 hours. The excuse given was bad weather in Sydney the night before.
    We were to leave on the 19th October and had paid extra to book seats etc and when we arrive to check in at 07.30 for our 09.00 flight we were told the flight was oversold and that there were no seats available. About 8 other passengers were told the same thing. The Fiji representative refused to meet us and sent messages via the check in staff who are not employees of the airline. It is the airline from Hell where there is no concern for inconvenience and the management of the airline should all be sacked, They are a disgrace to their country and to air travel in general.They are utterly disgraceful and all passengers should be warned about them. Virgin Australia came to our rescue.
