I can only recommend this Airline. Staff is very friendly and the pilots are very good (at least their landings). Food is awesome, you can choose between two meals, mostly chicken, red meat or fish. Rice or potatoes are added as well as a sauce (tomato, peanut,…). Afterwards muffins or cakes are served with classic Ethiopian coffee.
The entire plane was very very clean. On long distance flights you get a warm blanket that you can keep if you ask nicely and claim that you are cold (which you are going to be if you land in Addis Ababa at night (altitude about 2350 m / 7720 ft)).
The infotainment system offers lots of movies (african, asian, blockbuster, classic,…) that are updated frequently and that are available in english, french,…. Theres also a lot of music to listen to (pop, rock, charts, classics, african, country,……), or some games, or you choose one of many info-screens to get information about your flight.
Ethiopian Airlines was a great experience and besides the fact that their prices are relatively low, their service is very good.
