I recently flew on 9 flights in 9 days with a 7.5 – 8.5 week old baby. As you can imagine I was very anxious about this especially as I was travelling by myself with my baby for 6 of the flights. I was thoroughly impressed with everything involved in flying, from checking in and the help given to package up and check in the baby capsule, to the flight crew who helped us get settled in our seat (not easy with a baby and nappy bag and purse and trying to fit the extra seat belt for the baby), even the little extras like a pillow to prop my elbow on and the co-pilot who helped carry our bags off the plane in Westport. What could have been very difficult and stressful was made easy by the amazing Air New Zealand staff.
