I often fly from Aus to NZ. I have flown nearly every carrier on offer. Air New Zealand makes all the other airlines look like pathetic jokes.
Their outstanding service is unmatched. I particularly enjoy the touch screen ordering system and find drinks arrive in mere minutes.
My only critisism would be they are partnered with Virgin Australia. Which means if you are not diligent when booking a flight through Air New Zealand, you may end up on a Virgin flight. (Would rather swim than fly with those pricks!)
