Qatar Airways will bring backs its iconic A380 super jumbo back to Perth from December 6, this year, adding 163 extra seats in time for the Christmas rush to Europe.
The 517-seat A380 will replace its 354-seat Boeing 777-300ER for the daily service.
The Qatar Airways A380 has 8 first-class suites, 48 business class lie-flat seats and 461 economy seats.
Qatar’s A380 features an upstairs lounge and bar for premium travellers as well as a small intimate economy cabin at the rear of the upper deck where the seating is a cosy 2-4-2.
The flight - QR901 - leaves at 11 pm and arrives in Doha at 5.25 am to connect with a host of flights to Europe, Africa and the US.
The return flight, QR900 arrives in Perth at 6.20 pm.

This week Emirates announced it was bringing its A380 back on November 1.
Cathay Pacific Airways is also increasing services to twice weekly to Hong Kong from October 1 and it is expected that the schedule will increase rapidly into next year.
