Inside Scoot's 787 Dreamliner

In the very near future, Scoot, AirlineRatings.com's  Best Low Cost Carrier for Asia/Pacific 2015, will take delivery of its first 787-9 Dreamliner.  The first scheduled passenger flight will be between Perth ansd Singapore with other destinations to follow quickly as the airline aims to replace its six Boeing 777-200s with 787s by mid 2015.  The airline has in total 20 Dreamliners on order (787-8s and 787-9s) indicating massive expansion plans for this succesful low cost carrier.

The airlines first 787-9 will feature 340 Economy Seats and 34 Business Class Seats.

ECONOMY CLASS


The Economy Cabin will feature seating in a 3-3-3 configuration and every seat will have in seat power.



The popular Child Free Cabin at the front of Economy will also be carried through to the dreamliner fleet.



Slim line seats mean more passengers without compromising on leg room.

BUSINESS CLASS



The 34 leather Business Class seats are set in a 2-3-2 configuration.



The seats themselves offer a significant recline and extendable footrest.



In seat power is available at every seat.



Passengers receive complimentary meals, drinks and a blanket when flying Business Class.
