Airline Ratings Editor Wins Best Feature Award!  

Airline Ratings writer Chris Frame has been acknowledged as Aviation Feature writer of the Year by the Australasian Airline Press Club, for a feature story he wrote for Airline Ratings. 

Frame’s story, “How The Jet Airliner Eclipsed Ocean Liners”, was published by AirlineRatings  in April 2024. It explored the impact that jet airliners made on global travel, eclipsing ocean liners which had dominated transport for a century.  

Of the accolade, Frame told Airline Ratings: “Shipping and Aviation have been two of my biggest passions since I was a child. To have had the opportunity to write a feature for Airline Ratings that covered both topics was a great experience, and I am honoured to have been acknowledged by the AAPC for this work.”  

The Aviation Feature accolade is one of 8 categories acknowledged by the AAPC.
