Swiss International Air Lines is a full-service carrier flying a mixed long-haul fleet, where aircraft choice matters more than at most airlines. New Airbus A350s and refitted Boeing 777s have an excellent business cabin and highly regarded catering. The remaining Airbus A340s are noticeably behind and are being retired. Short-haul Airbus A220 and A320 flights are comfortable, with the A220 the roomier and quieter of the two, though catering and entertainment are far simpler.
