Japan Airlines is a consistently excellent full-service carrier, with exceptional cabin service and catering across a young widebody fleet. The Sky Suite business cabin is competitive and economy is generously configured for the region. They placed sixth in the 2026 Airline Ratings World's Best Full-Service Airlines, and premium economy was runner-up in its own category. Airbus A350-1000s are progressively replacing the older Boeing 777s on long-haul routes. Domestic flying is equally well run, with A350s on the trunk routes and free Wi-Fi throughout.
