Hainan Airlines is consistently the strongest of the Chinese carriers, with excellent Boeing 787 and Airbus A330 cabins, good catering and comprehensive entertainment. The business cabin is competitive with the best in Asia and crew service is notably better than most mainland peers. Domestic flights on Boeing 737 narrowbodies are more basic, with a recliner seat at the front and limited entertainment.
