July 2022. The airline operates from Hong Kong International Airport and serves destinations across Asia, including Bangkok, Manila, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei and Osaka. Founder Bill Wong chairs the company, while Liza Ng leads as chief executive after joining from Cathay Pacific and Dragonair.

The carrier flies Boeing 737-800s and recently introduced the larger Boeing 737 MAX 9. The MAX 9 brings the airline's first premium cabin, pairing eight premium seats with standard economy. Greater Bay Airlines holds firm orders for 15 MAX 9 jets and plans to grow its network across the Asia-Pacific. It has also applied to serve United States territories, signalling ambitions beyond its regional base.
