China Eastern is one of China's three big state carriers, flying a large modern fleet from Shanghai to Asia, Europe, North America and Australia. Competitive flat-bed business cabins are available on the Airbus A350 and Boeing 777 and 787. Economy is adequate and entertainment reasonable, but cabin service is impersonal and catering average. China Eastern is the launch operator of the COMAC C919, which flies domestic routes with a simple single-class cabin.
