ever again EasyJet. Our flight was delayed by more than 24 hours. After spending an entire day at the airport, we were only informed in the evening that the flight would depart the following day. Given the circumstances and my wife’s fear of flying, waiting any longer was no longer a viable option. We therefore booked an alternative flight with another airline to return home. EasyJet refuses any form of compensation and claims the delay was caused by (so-called) fog. However, multiple other flights departed at our scheduled departure time. We have photographic evidence of this. There was no fog; EasyJet simply did not have an aircraft available. We will therefore pursue this matter through legal channels.
