Cathay Pacific review by James 2015-09-02

This review is about the ground experience, not the inflight experience. I landed after midnight in a new airport in a country I had never visited before. The agent at the CX transfer desk could not have left a better first impression of his employer and his country. Andy (his name) went out of is way to help me obtain the boarding pass for my return flight(s) so I could spend my transit time in comfort (if not luxury). He not only gave me the information I needed; he walked me -- step by step -- through what I had to do and didn't leave me alone until...mission accomplished. Then, to my surprise and delight, he actually came to the Skyview Lounge after his shift ended (at 1:30am!) to make sure I was OK and to give me a Kit Kat Bar as a token of hospitality. Talk about a memorable encounter and an impression that will last a lifetime! Take notice, Cathay Pacific; here is an employee who embodies your public values!
