Great flying experience that started in The Loft, the renewed business lounge of Brussels Airlines. Upon boarding I was informed by the ground staff that Economy was overbooked and thus got an upgrade to Business. I have flown Brussels Airlines many times in both Economy and in Business and without fail the service is good, the food is fine and enough and the complimentary drinks service (also in Economy) is good. The screens for the in flight entertainment are large and the selection is good. Seats are comfortable. The only downside for me is the stop over in Dakar, which takes up too much time. Flying from Brussels is far more expensive than from Amsterdam, but with the generous luggage allowance and good service they make up for it. However Banjul flights remain very expensive compared to other African destinations.
