Lufthansa knowingly sells "extra leg space seats" for non-existent seats. I've purchased an upgrade and found out that thete is another row of seats just in front of me. Which hasn't been shown on a seat plan when I booked my tickets. My row has been shown as an emergency exit . I wasn't the only unlucky one. Passenger next to me had same problem - paid extra for extra comfort. I got jammed between two big guys (reason why we all paid extra money, being big or tall on a 9 hour flight in economy claa is no fun)in B seat with my knees presses against the seat in front of me which shouldn't be there at all. I addressed crew with this problem and got a response "Yes, we know about this issue. This mistakes happen all the time. But I'm just a cabin crew I'm not responsible for people on land. Can't do anything, there are other people much taller than you and they don't complain". After I pressed the matter by saying that I paid extra money for nothing I got threattened to be dispatched in Greenland and good luck for me getting home from there. Crew captain refused to talk on my behalf (German speaking passengers and I don't speak German) and told me I'm a big girl I can do it.
