I flew from Chicago IL to Dublin Ireland on Aer Lingus on Feb. 24, returned on March 3. On both flights (7 & 9 hours respectively) the travel crew only circulated the cabin three times - once for drinks, once for a meal & once for a snack. The only time they provided water was with the drink service and a small cup with meal. I've never been on an international flight where the crew didn't circulate every hour to provide drinks and keep passengers hydrated. Further more, on the overnight flight on Feb. 24, they left the cabin lights ON for all but 90 minutes making it difficult for passengers to get decent sleep. The crew was less than friendly, when I buzzed to ask for water the attendant told me to go to the center and get it myself. My Aer Lingus flight was the only example of poor customer service we had in our trip to Ireland, all other service throughout the country was lovely, the people were so nice! I loved Ireland and will be back, but will fly another airline.
