767 from Atlanta to Dusseldorf in Premium Economy cabin. My connection from Charleston SC has been late. So I run through the international concourse to be at the gate in time. A flight attendant stopped me on the concourse, still far away from the gate and he said, he knew me from the flight inbound from Dusseldorf to Atlanta. If I was catching the Dusseldorf flight, I could slow down because the flight was late. So I could do some shopping in the duty free shop. When boarding the plane another flight attendant asked me, if I would agree to sit in the business-elite cabin instead of premium economy because they would like to give my seat to a woman with a baby who had only a poor seat in the economy cabin. That was a great experience concerning awareness, attentiveness, friendliness. This event has been in 2013. I travel Dusseldorf Atlanta Charleston twice a year. Since that event I book business with Delta. Within the last five years I had never some kind of trouble with Delta. Nobody was rude. Meals were fresh and to my order (non dairy vegetarian). Luggage was on the belt fast. The planes were always clean and I felt safe and comfortable.
