Qatar Airways review by Paul 2013-06-11

Perth to Doha (B777), Doha to Paris (A340), Nice to Doha (A330) and Doha to Perth (B777). Both legs in the 777 were superb - very comfortable seats which fold into a full flat bed (with mattress & doona), excellent food and drink choices, very good in-flight entertainment. Very nice jim-jams, amenities kit, slippers etc etc. The premium terminal in Doha was excellent, though we had a 7:30 hr stopover on the way back, which was too long. Both Airbus flights were OK, though the seats were smaller and less comfortable than the 777. On the Nice - Milan sector we were the only pax in J class, so we go tonnes of attention! We found the on-board service to be very good, with lots of attention to detail - welcome drinks, hot towels etc - but just a bit impersonal. Overall, though, we were most impressed.
