My family booked flights and partially paid for the flights using airline credits we had due to a COVID cancellation. We were told we could make any changes for free within the next 48 hours. Just a few hours later I noticed a better and cheaper flight had just come available with enough seats now showing. I called the customer service number again and they helped me switch everything to the new flight. They told me that my account would be credited for the difference. Never once did he mention that I would receive MORE airline credits instead of a credit to my card that was used. This is a HORRIBLE way to do business. I have made multiple calls, sat on hold for hours only to be told to submit everything in an email so that someone could call me. If this airline cared anything about its customers and having repeat business, they would issue any refunds or changes in fees to the credit card first and then issue airline credits for any amount over what was charged to the card.
