My flight AI 162 on the 27th Nov 2015 at 08.45 from LHR TO DELHI was cancelled due to the reason given by very junior staff of Air India that there were not enough passengers to make it worthwhile for them to fly.[Senior staff were very specific about the reason to be given to passengers]. So they put me on the next flight AI 116 which was supposed to take off at 13.00Hrs. Again there was a delay by an hour in boarding. After settling down in my seat I found out that the screen was out of order. I was told to wait for 30 mins where a reboot might do the trick, but unfortunately it didn't. The cabin crew didn't have any sort of courtesy to offer me a replacement seat. The food provided to economy class passengers is surely inedible by humans. In fact I feed my pet dog better food than what we get in Air India. One thing I don't understand is why does the Indian Government allow such diabolical nonsense and why doesn't it take some sort of action to improve the incompetency of everyone in charge including the Board of Directors at Air India. Overall I can say is that each and everyone of Air India's staff is totally incompetent in doing their jobs.
