Lufthansa review by Linda 2015-07-23

I flew Lufthansa in June from Manchester to Johannesburg via Frankfurt, and I have to say that it was one of the best journeys I have ever experienced. I have to have wheelchair assistance due to an accident 3 years ago and right from the start the Lufthansa staff treated me with kindness. Being a pensioner I can only afford to fly Economy and dreaded the long hours flying but knew I had to grin and bear it. Then just before take-off it was announced that there where seats available in Premier Economy at a extra cost of 300 Euros. I asked a stewardess if I could see what the Premier seats where like before I decided, she kindly took me through to the compartment where I saw the difference in the seat size and immediately knew I had to sit there. I know 300 euros is a lot of money but after working hard all of my life, I thought that just once I deserved a bit of comfort ?. From the moment I sat in Premier I felt like a V.I.P., the crew couldn't have been nicer to me, everything was 100%. I arrived safely at Johannesburg fresh as a daisy, not like an old wash-rag!! I can only hope that my return journey is as pleasant and have to thank Lufthansa and their amazing staff. Thankyou !!
