Scoot was a very enjoyable carrier. I would definitely recommend booking with them when they have a sale on, if they fly to your destination. It is infact cheaper to fly from Perth to Sydney via Singapore on Scoot, then it is to go direct. Took a flight from Perth-SIN-Perth on 777. If you do book with scoot, I recommend you book in the Scoot In Silence section of the aircraft. It is like the premium economy section of a premium carrier like Qantas. It is rows 21-25 of the aircraft. It includes so much legroom, more than I have ever had in any economy class flights, and you have the advantage of the meals being brought to you before the rest of the plane, as you are seated up the front of the aircraft. The cabin crew were very friendly, I thought their service was comparable to the likes of Emirates, they smile a lot, always doing their job as efficiently as possible. If you are on a long flight I recommend eating prior to the flight because the meals are a little small. I was able to keep myself entertained with my own music and magazines, I assume it is better now with in-flight wifi, but again recommend taking books, magazines or anything to entertain yourself in your carry-on.
