We booked Melb/Sing some months before we travelled so cost was very cheap We travelled on 787 planes which were very good On way up we accepted offer of extra seat for $50 and this was good value On return trip we bid for upgrade to business class and got this Again this was very good as flight was during night Compared to Aust discount airlines Scoot was very good but it may have been because of the 787 planes used I certainly got the impression Scoot would charge for everything possible They carefully weighed all cabin baggage to see it complied and I gather this will be standard practice on all Scoot flights I certainly would be happy to use Scoot in the future [provided price is acceptable] mainly because of their use of 787 planes Compared to the old hand me down planes used by other Aust discount airlines it was a joy to travel in such high class planes and to me this places Scoot in a premium class compared to other discount airlines and the older equipment used by them
