Absolutely awful, cheap and not cheerful. Right from the off, I made my return flight booking online and the money was taken from my account. The confirmation I received was for a one way flight only. I had to travel through hell and back - four seperate conversations with their online chat and one very lengthy phone call to get this sorted. Upon check in, we were given no choice but to check in our hand baggage, which meant an additional 45 minutes hanging around to collect our bags upon arrival. The plane was tatty and overall very depressing. Old and outdated, no in flight magazine (unless requested). The air conditioning vent above me was broken and stuck on full power so I was freezing for the duration of the flight. The cabin crew were very unfriendly - not sure I witnessed one smile out of them! On the return journey, the flight was delayed by 1 hr 30 mins. The gate was absolute chaos as none of the Ryanair staff were aware of the delay and last minute gate changes meant that crowds of people were rushing around and panicking to find the correct gate. To top it off, turbulence hit quite badly but the tannoy system was so fuzzy that no one could make out what he was saying.
