Etihad Airways review by Sonja 2016-01-21

First time flying Etihad with kids, and won't be doing this again. I was a follower on FB, and thought I would be up for the experience of a lifetime. It was such a disappointment and I chose Etihad because they code share with Air Serbia. Air Serbia, why didn't you stay with Emirates?! Air Serbia made up for the service. Food was very average. Service? Almost non-existent. Terrible seats, hard as a rock. Had kids in business class, no-one stopped by to see how they were (what Air Nanny are you talking about?!) Fortunately, my kids love to travel. Left long haul flight without breakfast (!!!) on return to Australia, they clearly forgot about us. No-one asked us for beverages, snacks during the flight. Bar was non-operational. Saw the flight attendant once when they served dinner and then again to tell us to sit up for landing. Shame because it connects to Belgrade. In flight entertainment was limited. Your social media person should work for you on board. They might improve your service. I will give a 4 only because the pilots were clearly awesome, who landed the aircraft safely and also navigated around turbulence. Your airline is your pilots.
