Delta Air Lines review by Beth 2017-06-20

The seating area and leg room(I sat in an aisle seat) was still very confined. The passenger next to me was large, the side of her abdominal region went over the arm rest into my seat as well as her thigh. There was a dog that was a few rows ahead of me that barked at least 50% of the flight, so, I was unable to sleep during the flight. It's very disheartening that a direct round trip flight from Pittsburgh to LAX was unattainable. The layover is in Detroit. I am writing this review due to having the opportunity to do so because the return flight from Detroit to Pittsburgh was delayed twice..for 3 hours. I had a Delta gift card that was useless to upgrade, purchase food, etc..ridiculous. I tried to upgrade my seat on-line to comfort level, I was unable to upgrade to comfort level but could be upgraded to move up and have food included, I paid $35 and found out that gift cards weren't accepted & the flight attendant said I had no upgrades & had to pay for food. A $100 gift card is worth $100, it should be able to be applied for any costs incurred for flights. I'll be sure to spread the word to all I can, including Social Media, to not waist their money on Delta gift cards!
