My partner and I really appreciate all efforts on behalf of the staff; however, changes are obviously needed on behalf of Etihad (such as, communication). We just got off an international flight, and everything that could possibly go wrong, did. The Etihad system CANCELLED all of my partner's connecting flights due to a temp. boarding pass in Chicago. Thankfully, after a few hours, a manager resolved the issue. However, this resulted in a lot of confusion, waiting, panic, and lost baggage (I understand the last bit isn't suppose to be mentioned; however, it could have been avoided).
