Business Class

I fly business class for work 4 times a year for the last 15 years. I was disappointed and appalled by the service. The female staff were very nice and courteous. The men, not so much. Once I was in the business cabin, I took my seat and I couldn't get the attention of the male attendant to hang my coat. We had eye contact a couple times but he just ignored me. I finally got the attention of a female attendant and throughout the flight she helped me. As I said before, I have travelled many times and I flew BA, Air France, air italia, Lufthansa, American to Europe before, I never had such an experience of being consciously ignored. The seat is hard, the entertainment selection is narrow, both movies and tv shows, the whole thing feels like jal or Cathay pacific business class in the 80s. My return flight from Florence to lax has a connection in Amsterdam, the flight in Florence was delayed, by the time I arrived in Amsterdam, the flight was already boarding. By the time I got to the gate, I frantically ask an employee if this flight is going to LA, he waited 5 seconds and said 'I'm busy' and look away when clearly, he wasn't because most people had already boarded.
