From Kuala Lumpur to Auckland. Dated plane - still had the ash trays in the arm rests. Our family of 4 were allocated 4 seats in row 39 despite having purchased the tickets 11 months prior. We thought as Malaysian Airlines had had our money for this time we could have had better seats. The seats are the first row to drop from 5 seats to 4 seats at the back of the plane so the screens are not in front of you and the leg room is also limited. My daughters console was broken and falling out of the side of the seat. I had to hold the wire in my console to get the power to load a movie. My husband and I were offered one alcoholic drink for the entire 10hr plus flight. In contrary we received a sizeable wine or boutique beer and cheese on the connecting 1hr 20min air New Zealand flight to Christchurch. A disappointing long haul flight.
