Aegean Airlines review by Yanni 2013-07-17

Aegean Airlines 214 | Athens - Rhodes | A320 Flying in Greece has historically been a headache. However, Aegean who have been awarded World Regional Airline of the year 2012 & 2013 were great to say the least. An easy to use online check-in service avoided lines at check-in counters at the often busy Athens Airport. I was able to check-in, select my seat and print my boarding pass in five minutes. On the aircraft itself; it was delivered and entered service in 2010. Furthermore, it was well maintained, clean and felt brand new. The crew were efficient in their service and most welcoming. On the flight that was little over an hour, leg room in the seat is not too big of an issue. However, I can confidently say the legroom on this short flight was greater than that on a Qantas 767 or even A330 travelling from Perth bound for Melbourne. Overall an easy and enjoyable experience which puts the headache of flying in Greece to bed.
