The seats are unbelievably cramped. The ticket price is cheap IF on promo, otherwise not especially if you got some check in luggage. Entertainment is zero, food is horrible and purchased. Service is mechanical, that includes the smiles. Airport staff (Davao) are dishonest, a native elder woman with her daughter in front of me were over charged accordingly because of overweight carry ons. Later, one of their carry on was confiscated because it contained forbidden cargo (durian fruit). This I learned after the fact after translation. No refund was given. In the short version, I made a formal complaint on their behalf. As always, everyone's all pleasant and nice on the "surface" ... on the "surface" I say because nothing that really matters happens. Shocking because everyone else did nothing and just watched. No wonder this beautiful country is third world. My Filipino friend was profusely apologetic b/c otherwise my boyfriend and I had the most beautiful tropical holiday.
