My wife and I were victims of the Ryanair hand baggage double measure system whilst departing from Turkey. We placed our 1 item of hand baggage in the measuring cradle at check in. It fitted perfectly with no struggle at all. Somehow when we arrived at the boarding gate our bag had expanded and would not fit in the cradle at all. Result £57 excess baggage charge. RIP OFF. E- mailed Mr O' Leary, he couldn't have been less interested. Bloody conman!! EDITORS COMMENT: That's not fair at all
